It's more refreshing than heavy. You certainly don't look like what you have been through. As someone who has also had a brief stay in a psychiatric facility I can relate to your story. Thank you for bravely sharing this story. ❤️
More church goers need to recognize that going to church is not the same as knowing God.
amen!! Jesus had to personally show me that this faith walk was more than just saying yes at an altar call. He showed me the need to be born again, something I had never understood before He opened my eyes to the truth. Love you, dear Cathy. Thank you for sharing so vulnerably also. He is still writing our stories, and I am here for it.
Thank you for sharing your testimony! It is so brave, and your testimony is so precious. I cannot see why anyone would unsubscribe from you sharing this as its a beautiful testimony of God's saving grace! ❤️
Thank you, Mel. He has saved me from myself & has given me a new life. I pray that everyone encounters Him more deeply, day by day and moment by moment :')
I appreciate your vulnerability in this post, welcome home! Thank God for loving us enough to save us from ourselves, I was lost too and now I’m found. It’s very true once the scales are removed from your eyes it’s hard to go backwards when you’ve had fresh revelation about God and spiritual things.
amen, sis Porchia! He is truly remarkable. It's so strange to see how blind I was, because of deception, sin, & the hardness of heart. I'm so glad He broke through all that. It reminds me of that song by Keith Green, Your love broke through (thank You, Holy Spirit)!! I want to listen to it now. Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_g6th8E83d0
You are a brave and beautiful daughter of God and I rejoice at your testimony of His saving grace. Thank you for sharing with vulnerability, reminding us that it is God who works in and through us for His glory. Blessings sister!
