Surrender
a poem | Wednesday Poetry Club

hi! I’m grateful for
’s #WednesdayPoetryClub (who else participates? Let me know). It has given me the encouragement to continue poems that I could not bring myself to finish. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for helping me write. I cannot do this without You.Today I’m sharing one I just completed, guided by the best Helper. This poem takes place circa ~2022, shortly after the hellish postpartum psychosis experience I touched upon in my last post. I am so grateful for my therapist, whom the Holy Spirit spoke through, to aid in my healing journey. I’ll never forget the words of truth and life Holy Spirit spoke over me, through him.
Think back on your own life, and remember these ones. Cherish those interactions. Thank Abba that He sent the workers into the field. Everything done for the Lord lasts, even if the fruit is not visible at the moment.
I am thankful that Jesus uses and continues to use vessels to help us in our journeys. He is the One who translates us from the kingdom of darkness into His marvelous Light. The God of the harvest faithfully uses obedient, yielded vessels to plant and water those seeds.

Really great work Melody !
This is a covering by God for healing, truth and surrender!
Beautiful.
Wow—such a touching poem and experience.
Thank you for sharing from a place of vulnerability, truth, and surrender.
This artistic expression, woven from the fabric of your journey, is a beautiful tapestry of His grace. It models the relentless love of God, reaching into the deepest and darkest places, and bringing us out not just whole, but carrying memories of His wonder and goodness.
